It is not possible to install the 32-bit version of the MS Office 2007 / 2010 IFilter package. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9185904/using-ifilter-from-a-32bit-app-on-a-x64-system has a hack to show how it is possible if you have a 32-bit Windows OS available where you can do the install and copy the results to your 64-bit system, but this is really a bad solution.
I have updated the 32-bit Regexp issue in Connect
I will implement the IFilter text extraction as a Web API solution where the input to the api is the file name and it returns the text of the file for indexing by Lucene.NET. This should allow for both 32-bit and 64-bit processing.

The implemented solution uses an IFilter provider by Eyal Post from EPocalipse.IFilter
The filter is accessed through a Web API run in 64-bit.
